TFAS supporters, friends and local alumni are invited to join TFAS for a forum and keynote luncheon discussion featuring Lord Daniel Hannan on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at the Naples Yacht Club. Lord Daniel Hannan, TFAS America 250 Visiting Fellow, member of the U.K. House of Lords and author of “Inventing Freedom,” will deliver the keynote address on “250 Years of Freedom: What the American Tradition Means to the World.” The forum will also feature two panels on the state of civic knowledge in America and how organizations like TFAS are working to address the issue. Additional forum panelists will be announced soon.
This event is part of The Fund for American Studies 2026 Regional Conferences, Developing Courageous Citizens: Revitalizing Civic Education and America’s Founding Principles, a series of forums held around the country to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
