Michigan Golf Hall of Fame

We are pleased to announce the 2019 Michigan Golf Hall of Fame honorees. This year’s class of recipients will be formally inducted on Sunday, June 2.  Golf will be at Katke Golf Course, 1003 Perry Street, Big Rapids, MI  49307.  The Induction Ceremony will be at The Holiday Inn located next to the Katke Clubhouse. 

Schedule of Events

9:30 to 10: 15 a.m.  - Registration

10:30 a.m. - Shotgun Start - Boxed lunch included

3:30 p.m. - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Ken Janke Sr. Golf Learning Center - home of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame

4:00 p.m. - Cocktail Reception at the Holiday Inn 

5:00 p.m. - Dinner at the Holiday Inn - Induction Ceremony immediately following dinner. A block of rooms have been reserved for our guests at the Holiday Inn - Click Here to Reserve Your Room or call (231) 796-4400.

2019 Inductees

The 2019 Inductees are George Bayer, Ron Beurmann, Bernie Friedrich and Al Mengert.  A Special Award will be presented to the Golf Association of Michigan.

The individuals we recognize have made history.  Through your participation and support, we can help celebrate their honor and deserved recognition. Golf attire is acceptable for dinner and induction ceremony.
