On Par For Missions

So what is “Missions” at Wethersfield Evangelical Free Church (WEFC)?  Missions is “crossing the bridge” as it were, to bring good will, good deeds and good news to those in need.  For example, WEFC has sent teams to Haiti every 2 years for the last decade to meet the needs of orphans. The church has sent hurricane relief teams to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and we are sending a team this summer to Houston to help out after Hurricane Harvey. We also send teams into the north end of Hartford to work with kids. We support a woman’s crisis center where women who are pregnant and have nowhere to turn can be counseled and helped. We want to do more of this and this tournament will help us fund this outpouring of love for our global and local community.
